Aiming to make Bergama a meeting and sharing point both in the region and nationally in the field of cultural policies and theater, with the joint projects it has developed and the relationships it has established, as well as the local and international works included in the program selection, the festival, together with its teammates who participate from Bergama every year, meets with the local community. As a team whose bond is getting stronger, it tries to realize its goals and dreams.
With the program he created by focusing on the reflections of the relationship between Bergama and Berlin on artistic production, after 2018, when he first met with the audience and Bergama, he took a 2-year mandatory break and set out to be a sustainable, sharing and transforming festival in 2021.
In all the steps he has taken while creating his program and content since this new beginning; “Localization”, in which it strengthens its ties with the region and its artists, “Sectorization” in which it supports capacity development and professional steps, “Accessibility of Social and Cultural Life” for a more equal and accessible culture and arts environment, and the festival’s present and future, the festival audience and the festival team. focuses on four main focuses, which can be summarized as “Youth and Children”, which make up their future teammates or artists. The Bergama Theater Festival, where the seeds of a sustainable, changing and transforming structure that will affect and be affected will continue to be sown for years, and may our meetings never end!
